MetTel is out with TrueUC, an all-in-one UC hub geared specifically toward the millennial workforce.

TrueUC can be used with a smartphone or tablet with keyboard powered by MetTel mobile connectivity and mobile device management (MDM). Now the mobile worker is equipped with a single device that provides all business computing and communications, the company said.

MetTel’s Gary Gluzman

Gary Gluzman, MetTel’s executive director of product development, tells Channel Partners that mobile-centric UC products like TrueUC allow the channel to “offer state-of-the-art solutions to their customers which fit well with many strategic business initiatives of today’s needs.”

Here’s our most recent list of new products and services being offered by agents, VARs, MSPs and other channel partners.

Many enterprises have a widely dispersed workforce with many mobile customers, he noted.

“MetTel’s TrueUC bridges the gap between all these users and allows workers that are remote to carry a single device and have collaborative communication with their coworkers [and] customers even though they could all be scattered throughout the country,” Gluzman said.

Organizations can access a cloud, API-driven UC offering that combines text, voice, video, chat, email and business app integration, plus mobile connectivity, MDM, single billing and a single support number.

“MetTel is the only carrier to offer such [a] bundle with deep focus on mobile-centric users,” Gluzman said. “TrueUC also has open APIs so that custom integration with third-party (customer relationship management) CRMs can very easily be achieved. Out of the gate, users can integrate with Office 365, Google, Outlook, Dropbox, Twitter, etc., to have a single pane view into all their critical applications.”

TrueUC utilizes the BroadSoft UC-One application while leveraging mobile devices from Samsung and others.

“UC-One, a key element of TrueUC, truly empowers today’s mobile worker,” said Jonathan Reid, managing director of BroadSoft worldwide sales. “UC-One enables teamwork in a mobile environment providing a true collaboration experience anytime, anywhere. Business doesn’t stop when you leave the office and UC-One provides a way to engage others whether in the same building or across the world.”
