LogMeIn Adds Recording, Recap Feature to Join.me
Cloud services provider (CSP) LogMeIn (LOGM) is continuing to push new cloud services to MSPs through the end of the year by with a new meeting recap feature for its online meeting screenshare service join.me. The new feature leverages Cubby, the company’s secure cloud-based file sync and share offering.
According to LogMeIn, this new recap feature represents a key step in LogMeIn’s overall collaboration strategy by enabling hosts to follow-up with meeting participants to “quickly socialize ideas, decisions and other meeting outcomes to their teams.”
LogMeIn Collaboration Products Senior Director Lou Orfanos said in a prepared statement that “this is another step in the direction of enabling continuous collaboration for our customers and their teams.”
“We believe the instant meeting recaps and integrated cloud file sharing with Cubby will better help businesses instantly capture and socialize the conversations that lead to killer ideas,” Orfanos said.
The company has also spent a good portion of 2013 building and expanding the company’s channel partner team, recruiting Channel Chief Ted Roller and Channel Engagement Manager Shannon Kohn Mayer.
