INFORMATICA WORLD — Informatica partners are getting access to the enterprise cloud data management provider’s next-generation ISV partner program, ISV Innovate.

The company announced early access to ISV Innovate at Informatica World 2023, the company’s annual customer conference underway in Las Vegas.

Due to the breadth and depth of Informatica’s multicloud Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform and its 5,000-plus global customer base, ISVs can bring their capabilities to market. Concurrently, IDMC customers will benefit from access to more data and broader data management innovations from ISVs.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know. It features updates from cybersecurity, collaboration, mobility, networking providers and many more.

Reimagining Work with Informatica Partners

Rik Tamm-Daniels, the global vice president of technical alliances at Informatica, said his company has undergone a multiyear transformation to become a fully cloud-native, consumption-driven company. And in that transformation, it invested extensively to bring its data management capabilities and expertise to the cloud over the last few years.

“Today, that transformation is complete,” he said. “While we have always worked with ISV partners, the time has come to reimagine not just how we deliver our capabilities to customers in the cloud, but how we partner with ISVs in the cloud. ISV Innovate is a 100% cloud-focused, consumption model-driven program providing ISVs in data and analytics with an unprecedented opportunity to engage with thousands of current Informatica customers on the most comprehensive data management platform on the market that is available across four cloud hyperscalers: Amazon Web services (AWS), Microsoft, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud.”

Informatica engaged with multiple partners across different segments, such as data source providers, data enrichment providers, data protection providers and data-driven application providers, Tamm-Daniels said.

“The focus of that engagement was to simplify and accelerate development of integrations to IDMC, as well as in developing commercial models that reduce friction for customers and drive tremendous value for our ISV partners,” he said. “We have invested significant effort in ease of integration, ease of going to market, ease of customer discovery and adoption, and ease of deriving value from the IDMC ecosystem for our partners. Our goal is to provide a frictionless experience from onboarding to co-selling so that our customers and partners can benefit from the widest range of capabilities they need to meet their critical data and analytics needs.”

Benefits for Informatica Partners

For Informatica partners, participating in the IDMC ecosystem provides them access to a large customer base in some of the most complex data environments in the world, Tamm-Daniels said. That means they have a “huge” opportunity to bring their unique capabilities, and deliver and receive “tremendous” value.

“ISV partners also benefit from IDMC’s wide range of data management capabilities,” he said. “For example, if a data store provider needs to get data in or out of their platform for their customers, IDMC provides more than 200 out-of-the-box connectors. But let’s say that partner’s customer also wants to govern the data in their product or perform data quality. IDMC also offers those capabilities. ISV Innovate provides our partners with the ability to deliver complete solutions to our joint customers, simplifying and accelerating their ability to serve more customers and use cases.”

Steve Prestidge, chief innovation officer at Anonos, said ISV Innovate enables his company to “bring an end-to-end solution and go to market with the leader in cloud data management.”

“We are thrilled to be a launch partner for ISV Innovate,” he said.
