Cisco Acquires Enterprise Security Firm OpenDNS. Cisco has acquired OpenDNS to expand its security intelligence offerings and build on its “global effort to provide security everywhere,” David Goeckler, senior vice president and general manager for Cisco’s security business unit said.
BitTitan, Sonian Unveil Office 365 Email Archiving Service. BitTitan and Sonian have partnered to enable managed service providers the ability to offer a service designed for customers to easily migrate email to Office 365. Since the service requires no set up fees, a BitTitan spokesperson told MSPmentor that MSPs can offer a “smooth transition directly from the email source.”

Cloud Technology Partners Raises Additional $3.5M in Funding. Bringing its total funding to $17.4 million, Cloud Technology Partners brought on an additional $3.5 million in capital this week from its investors, including Pritzker Group Venture Capital and Oak Investment Partners. The company will use the investment to scale its sales and delivery capabilities.
Google Cloud Platform Certifies 13 Worldwide Training Partners. Google has certified 13 official training partners to provide training on Google Cloud Platform. There are nearly 100 classes available either on-location or online in the US, and there are several global partners on board as well.
