Amazon.com Breaks Out AWS Cloud Revenues for First Time in Q1 Report. Amazon’s quarterly earnings announcement yesterday featured something cloud computing watchers have been awaiting for quite a while. The company broke out its cloud computing Amazon Web Services (AWS) revenues for the first time for the quarter ending March 31, as well as breakouts by quarter for all of 2014 and an annual AWS breakout for 2013. Here are the details.

VMware vCloud Air Now Available as Managed Service. VMware (VMW) vCloud Air is now available to customers as a managed service through vCloud Air Network service providers, said Geoff Waters, vice president of VMware’s Service Provider Channel. The announcement marks the first time service providers can leverage vCloud Air as their core infrastructure when delivering managed services to customers, according to the announcement. MSP partners are ideal resellers for vCloud Air because of their expertise in delivering systems management and support to end users, the company noted.
