Asigra Expands Hybrid Partner Training and Certification Program. Asigra has updated its Hybrid Partner Training and Certification Program to assists MSPs with lowering their operating costs and better support their customers. The Toronto-based cloud BDR solutions provider said its technical training enhancements are part of a certification program that is designed to teach service providers and their customers about its products.
Adaptive Insights Taps Citrix Chairman as CEO, Commits to Continue Building Partner Network. Adaptive Insights his week announced it has tapped Citrix (CTXS) chairman Thomas F. Bogan as its CEO. He will be taking on the role to assist with the CPM and BI company’s next phase of expansion and innovation.

Oracle CloudWorld: The Rise of Data-as-a-Service. With more types of applications being put into the cloud every day organizations of all size are now starting to think in terms of now only putting entire business processes into the cloud, but also essentially turning data into a service. Speaking at an Oracle CloudWorld event in New York this week, Thomas Kurian, president of product development at Oracle, outlined how the convergence of applications and identity management will soon give rise to the notion of delivering data-as-a-service.
Microsoft Eases Migration Between Azure Data Centers. If migrating cloud assets between Microsoft Azure data centers has been proving to be a little complex, have no fear. Microsoft (MSFT) is promising that its latest tool will make it simpler and easier for customers and partners to migrate those resources between Azure data centers.
BroadSoft to Improve User Experience Through Leonid Acquisition. BroadSoft (BSFT) is beefing up its hosted VoIP offerings with the acquisition of Leonid Systems, and according to the company, the buy will significant enhance its existing offerings.
