Automation-as-a-service provider GridVision announced the general availability of its new multi-tenant automation and IT management software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering.

Automation-as-a-service provider GridVision announced the general availability of its new multi-tenant automation and IT management software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering. Designed to be easy to use, cost-effective and cloud-based, the new offering is aimed at small and medium businesses (SMBs), as well as managed services providers (MSPs).

According to the vendor, the GridVision IT automation and management service enables customers to rapidly manage both on-premise and cloud-based assets with centralized visibility, management, control and reporting.

The company brought the new SaaS offering to market with a few features it hopes will attract both SMBs and MSPs, including:

  • Quick and simple installation, operation and management. Using GridVision’s extensible automation platform, the new offering enables both asset and task management across devices, users and environments from a single console. Out of the box, GridVision promises support for Microsoft Windows desktops and servers, Office 365, Exchange and Active Directory management and reporting tasks.

  • The elimination of repetitive, complex and mundane management tasks, as well as the delivery of assured uptime and quick fixes for issues before they impact productivity.

  • Controlled self-service features for end users to reduce operating costs and drive efficiencies.

  • Reduced IT management costs and boosted efficiency. The SaaS solution enables administrators to replace multiple standalone products with a single offering, with the intention of reducing ongoing management costs.
