South Carolina-based Green Cloud Technologies has hired Jonathan Philipsen as vice president of wholesale services. Philipsen will be in charge of spearheading wholesale partnerships and marketing Green Cloud’s products and solutions to the managed service provider (MSP) community.

Before his new position, Philipsen was director of business development at EDTS where he was also in charge of developing a cloud offering. Before EDTS, Philipsen worked as district sales director at Windstream (formerly NuVox). There, he oversaw approximately $1.24 million of sales in annual voice and data telecommunication services. At Windstream, Philipsen was presented with the Premier Circle Award, the most prestigious award, for six consecutive years along with the Elite Award in 2010.

“I had the pleasure to work with Jonathan for many years at NuVox and the one thing that always stood out was that he always got results,” said Dan Sterling, president of Green Cloud. “As we continue to grow at Green Cloud, we try to find the best of the best, and Jonathan certainly fits that criteria.”
