Got Your Own Data Center? NetEnrich Helps You Monetize It

By samdizzy

Managed Data Center Services

NetEnrich is reaching out to IT solutions providers, IT service providers and cloud services providers that have their own data centers. The pitch: NetEnrich stands ready to assist those channel companies with a range of managed co-location, managed hosting and managed cloud services.

The effort, part of NetEnrich’s data center practice, seeks to help solutions providers to boost revenues and profit margins from their existing data centers — without building additional infrastructure.

NetEnrich is perhaps best known for providing NOC (Network Operations Center) services, via distributors, to VARs and MSPs that need help managing end-customer networks. But more recently, NetEnrich has positioned around the ROC (remote operations center) term.

From the Hardware to Software Stack

The basic concept: NetEnrich does more than manage network infrastructure. It also offers ROC services that blanket application management, database management, big data management and more.

For NetEnrich and many other firms that engage with VARs and MSPs, breaking into the mid-market can be a difficult process. The vast majority of VARs and MSPs are small businesses that don’t have their own data centers. But there is a highly successful mid-market, where some IT service providers continue to run and manage their own data centers to meet various customer needs.

That mid-market — IT services providers with data centers — is NetEnrich’s path forward, though the company will certainly continue to work with smaller VARs and MSPs that need traditional NOC services.

A few weeks ago, NetEnrich offered some preliminary clues about its ongoing direction. At the time the company said it would focus more on mid-market applications management, such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and databases.

Today, NetEnrich made a far more definitive statement — essentially offering an open letter to all IT services providers with their own data centers. If you fit that description, chances are NetEnrich will be in touch.
