Ingram Micro channel partners in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand can now offer Dropbox file sharing and collaboration services as Ingram Micro has expanded its distribution agreement with Dropbox.

According to an announcement on Monday, Ingram Micro is the premier distributor of Dropbox in several European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, Ingram Micro channel partners in the US, Canada, and the Netherlands are now able to purchase, provision, configure, and manage Dropbox through a single automated portal with its availability in the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace. Channel partners will also benefit by the extended agreement by soon being able to attach Dropbox to Microsoft Office 365, offering a greater cross-sell opportunity, and bundle and sell unique Dropbox Business offerings.

Through this expanded agreement, we will leverage our combined technical capabilities and expertise to build a value-added solution for strategic customer segments and vertical markets.”

The announcement comes as Ingram Micro has entered into a definitive agreement to buy cloud application distributor Ensim last week.

Dropbox channel chief Hank Humphreys said that Ingram Micro has shown an “impressive commitment to the channel.”
