Cosentry confirmed a growing demand from its customers for cloud and mobile-enabled applications in a recent company press release, announcing an expansion of its offerings as a response.

Data center services and cloud computing services provider Cosentry has expanded its offerings to include application migration, cloud deployment and HTML5 mobile enablement through its partnership with AppShark, a developer of custom software solutions. With these new offerings, customers will be able to convert legacy apps, move them to the cloud and add HTML5 for bring your own device (BYOD) capabilities. Here are the details.

Cosentry said demand from its customers for cloud and mobile-enabled applications drove its expansion of solutions in these areas. These additional services will enable Cosentry customers to access work-related data from anywhere and on any device.

Cosentry Vice President of Development Manny Quevedo said in a prepared statement that BYOD is a top concern for many of the company's customers, adding that this offering "closes the gap in services that facilitate cloud deployment and mobility."

Cosentry will be offering these services as part of a partnership with AppShark.

"Our mutual customers are looking to reduce the time and resources needed to upgrade existing applications to current standards and move their infrastructure to the cloud," said AppShark Managing Director Americas Jack Pereira in his prepared remarks.
