CloudBerry Lab wants to help MSPs back up SQL Server databases to public clouds like Amazon Web Services and Windows Azure.

CloudBerry Lab is seeking to help MSPs back up Microsoft's (NASDAQ: MSFT) SQL Server database to your choice of public clouds — including Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, Windows Azure, HP Cloud, Rackspace or OpenStack.
CloudBerry is an Amazon Web Services Advanced Technology Partner — a key designation that affirms the company's cloud-oriented skillset. The new SQL Server backup capabilities include full, differential and transaction log backup. CloudBerry claims users does not require SQL Server administration expertise to perform backups.
Partner Program
On the partner front, CloudBerry has a white label offering for MSPs. And affiliate partners can earn 30 percent commissions.
This launch is the latest example of a cloud-oriented company giving MSPs freedom of choice via public clouds. The options increasingly include OpenStack support, ensuring customers can leverage clouds based on the open source standard. Dell, HP and IBM have each built or plan to build public cloud services on OpenStack.
