CloudBees, which provides a continuous delivery PaaS, announced it has completed integration with Amazon Web Services Elastic Beanstalk this week at the AWS re:Invent conference.

The AWS Elastic Beanstalk integration will provide developers using the CloudBees PaaS with the ability to accelerate the development process and then rapidly deploy those apps on AWS. The new integration is available now, and according to CloudBees, it enables continuous integration features on Elastic Beanstalk while also giving developers a choice of deployment options. The end goal? Make it easier to continuously deliver application updates.

Dubbed the CloudBees Continuous Delivery Platform, the PaaS provides developers with a set of cloud-based development services, including continuous integration based on the Jenkins Continuous Integration server.

“The AWS community is already very familiar with Jenkins CI as the best way to perform continuous integration and deployment. The CloudBees Platform makes Jenkins CI available as a development service and now connects to Elastic Beanstalk as a deployment target,” said Andrew Lee, vice president of business development at CloudBees, in a prepared statement. “Developers have another great option for developing and deploying in the cloud.”

This isn’t the first public cloud platform that CloudBees has integrated with, of course. Including AWS Elastic Beanstalk, CloudBees also integrates with CloudFoundry.com and Google App Engine, providing continuous deployment options.
