Cloud infrastructure analytics platform provider Cloudamize is now offering a free migration planning solution for the Google Cloud Platform

Together, Cloudamize and Google (GOOG) are encouraging companies with a migration requirement of 10 or more servers on any infrastructure – cloud, physical, virtual or hybrid – to plan their migration to the Google Cloud Platform for free.

“Before Cloudamize, much of the work around modeling workloads, projecting costs and building migration plans was actually very manual,” Cloudamize CEO Bob Moul said in a prepared statement. “By partnering with Google, we are able to offer our powerful analytics platform to simplify, automate and speed migration planning at no cost to our customers.”

Cloudamize pointed out its analytics platform enables Google Cloud Platform users to quantify current infrastructure and workload requirements, determine the optimum Google Cloud Platform configuration based on cost and performance and generate executable migration plans.

The company also pointed out its platform allows Google Cloud Platform users to:

  • Find and prioritize applications based on dependencies, readiness and cloud suitability.

  • Visualize workloads and fine-tune cost parameters.

  • Generate precise total cost of ownership (TCO) estimates to compare cloud and data center costs.

Moul added the Cloudamize platform may help businesses leverage the Google Cloud Platform and “realize the full potential of the cloud” as well.
