An update of Cloud Technology Partners‘ PaaSLane cloud application transformation solution is meant to enable app developers to assess and optimize source code for cloud readiness and modernization quicker and more efficiently than before. PaaSLane 2.5 has several new and enhanced features around Java and .NET application developers.

PaaSLane first unveiled the PaaSLane offering last fall. The cloud platform is intended to smooth the transition of applications as they shift from traditional IT infrastructure to the cloud. The 2.0 update released earlier this year reduced the migration time needed to move those apps onto the cloud. With PaaSLane 2.5, Cloud Technology Partners is aiming to provide more flexibility, including separating it into two targeted solutions: PaaSLane Assess and PaaSLane Optimize.
