Tervela‘s Cloud FastPath SaaS, which provides content migration, sync and backup, has launched its first partner program.

The program aims to make it easier for service providers and SIs to create migration-as-a-service offerings. Cloud FastPath now makes all of its functionality available to partners in a flexible package, allowing its partners to move their customers into cloud content management and collaboration platforms, the company said.

Katie Braband Clouse, director of Cloud FastPath’s partner program, tells Channel Partners the biggest benefit for partners is they now can license the enterprise migration platform for a “low monthly fee.”

“Consolidating cloud storage and content collaboration platforms, and decommissioning file servers and other on-premises systems, are two enormous opportunities for partners today,” she said. “Cloud FastPath makes it easy for partners to do both, and it’s now more affordable than ever.”

Cloud FastPath’s partners have moved more than 300 terabytes into and between collaboration platforms this year. Following on the heels of the mass migration of email to cloud platforms, Cloud FastPath expects this number to grow “drastically.”

“Partners have loved Cloud FastPath’s enterprise migration platform; however, in the past it was cost-prohibitive for partners with smaller to midsize customers and migration projects,” Braband Clouse said. “The new Cloud FastPath partner license delivers this powerful technology to partners of all sizes. In addition, partners can use the package to migrate many separate clients at once, whereas competing solutions do not allow this.”

A recent HTF Market Intelligence study on global data-entry software lists Tervela among the top players.

Cloud FastPath has added functionality geared toward better serving partners, including multi-user management and read-only users, top-level project reporting and status overview, remote on-premises deployment automation, and more, the company said. In addition, Cloud FastPath’s recognized file analytics capabilities help services providers and SIs work with their customers to understand source content, scope migration requirements, identify any issues and communicate project timelines, it added.

A monthly fee includes a preset amount of Cloud FastPath capacity and all capacity rolls over. The package also allows partners to migrate an unlimited number of end-customers under a certain size.
