Five9 (FIVN) recently introduced a Cloud Alliance Partner Program to enable third-party vendors to integrate their contact center solutions into the company’s portfolio.

The San Ramon, California-based cloud contact center software provider designed the program to meet the needs of partners with solutions that required integration with its portfolio, according to Walt Rossi, Five9’s vice president of Business Development.

"As we work with our customers we often find that they have some other surrounding solutions that they need to integrate with the Five9 solution," said Rossi, in an interview with Talkin' Cloud. “As we work with these customers and have those solutions built out we realized there was a lot of need for the ISV companies to proactively build those integrations with Five9."

The program allows partners to use Five9's APIs to integrate their solutions with the company’s ecosystem, which are then certified by Five9 for use with its software. The program launched with five channel partners, including Authority Software, Mattersight, Mobile Messaging Solutions, PlayVox and Sightcall.

"PlayVox is excited to be an inaugural member of the Five9 Cloud Alliance Partner Program," said Joe McFadden, vice president North America Operations at PlayVox, in a statement. "Integrating with a top-of-the-line cloud contact center solution means that we are better able to motivate and engage agents in the customer experiences. Outcomes include greater productivity, customer loyalty and employee retention. Our paired offering improves agent and customer experiences, which ultimately improve sales and customer service performance."

Rossi said Five9 is working on introducing partners to a wider swath of its customers to bring more awareness to their solutions. New partners will be added as the program gains traction.

"Being able to deliver fully integrated contact center applications gives organizations the tools they need to better serve their customers," said Rossi. "We are proud to announce this new program, and look forward to adding additional solution partners."
