Cleversafe Aims to Build Out Big Data Partner Ecosystem

Cleversafe has teamed up with several technology and cloud service providers to build out a network of solution providers that combined will address the Big Data storage problem. That’s not out of the ordinary for Cleversafe, which bills itself as “the solution for limitless data storage” and provides technology to help customers deal with petabytes of data.

The Cleversafe Solution Network is a loose collection of Cleversafe partners that is designed to provide customers with an ecosystem of providers that delivers cost-effective, scalable and highly available end-to-end storage solutions.

“We recognize the benefits that joint technology partnerships can bring to customers and so we’ve engaged with ‘best-in-class’ providers to build our Solution Network,” said Russ Kennedy, vice president of Product Strategy, Marketing and Customer Solutions at Cleversafe, in a prepared statement. “Together we’ll solve today’s storage challenges, and build new business opportunities and long-term partnerships that will enable us to deliver comprehensive, proven technology solutions to our shared markets.”

Those are some big promises, considering the challenges Big Data is causing for customers and their trusted providers. It’s an impressive grouping of partners that includes everything from cloud access providers to Big Data analytics specialists to network optimization providers. Some of the partners in the Solution Network are very specific to cloud services, whereas others are focused more on on-premise or they help to bridge the gap between on-prem and cloud.

Included in the network so far are Gladinet, Mezeo, Panzura, Solid Instance, South River Technologies, DeJarnette Research Systems, Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Cloudera, IBM (NYSE: IBM), Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), CommVault (NASDAQ: CVLT) Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC), QStar Technologies, VMware (NYSE: VMW) Riverbed (NASDAQ: RVBD), F5 (NASDAQ: FFIV), Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) and Seagate (NASDAQ: STX). And Cleversafe is looking for more partners to joing the ever-growing network.

Additionally, Cleversafe has launched a self-certification tool to ensure third-party application interoperability and support
