There’s a skill shortage in the cloud computing space, and over the last couple of years, several cloud organizations have launched cloud certifications. CBT Nuggets doesn’t believe enough has been done to help IT professionals gain the skills they need, though, so the company has aimed its latest release at those studying for Amazon (AMZN) Web Services (AWS) architect certifications.

Preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect: Foundations and AWS Certified Solutions Architect: Architecting exams can’t be easy, but two new video training programs from CBT Nuggets may help IT professionals get ahead. It all depends on how closely the new training series align with the AWS architect programs and examinations.

One thing is clear: There is a need for more training in a technology market that saw 1.7 million cloud-related positions unfilled over the past year, according to recent research from IDC.

“Companies are actively looking for people who can demonstrate knowledge—and who have hands-on experience—building secure and reliable cloud-based applications using AWS technology,” said Jeremy Cioara, host of the new CBT Nuggets video training series, in a prepared statement. “So acquiring certification is a no-brainer for people who want a competitive edge. The video training series guide IT professionals through theory and hands-on practice that the company noted are particularly relevant for challenging areas in the AWS exams, such as spinning up an EC2 instance by creating a virtual server in the cloud. CBT Nuggets promises the series provide viewers with all the training they need to master the content within the architect certifications.
