Awareness Technologies Signs 100 Cloud Partners In 6 Months
Awareness Technologies (ATI – no relation to the graphics company), which provides on-demand security and data loss prevention under a SaaS model, says it has signed up 100 channel partners to resell, distribute, and deploy security solutions over the past six months. What’s more, ATI’s signed on McAfee veteran Dean Galbreath as senior director, channel sales.
The official Awareness Technologies press release made special note of a few of the company’s newfound distribution and resale partners, including Ingram Micro, master MSP and cloud service provider Do IT Smarter, managed services provider peer group The MSP Centrifuge, and others. What all these partners have in common, according to ATI, is a focus on small and midsize customers.
What’s drawn all these partners to ATI so quickly? Quoth Ken Totura, Chief Channel Officer of Awareness Technologies in that same press release:
“We’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback from partners on the breadth and the quality of our technology, the ease of implementation for the SMB market, as well as the ability for reseller partners to easily white-label our solutions.”
As for newly-recruited Awareness Technologies Senior Director of Channel Sales Dean Galbreath, he’ll be heading up strategic partner recruitment, marketing, sales and technical training, as well as general program management. At McAfee, Galbreath headed the West Region of their Partner Focus program, so he has some experience with the channel. And prior to McAfee, ATI says he was at MX Logic and founded two managed services businesses of their own.
Perceptive readers may notice that Awareness Technologies now has a Chief Channel Officer and a Senior Director of Channel Sales — showing ATI’s clear commitment to the channel.
