ASG Updates CloudFactory, Provides Integration with EAMS

ASG Software Solutions, an enterprise IT software solutions and cloud orchestration services provider, has developed a new version of its ASG CloudFactory cloud provisioning solution. The biggest feature of this latest release? ASG has fully integrated the solution with its Enterprise Automation Management Suite (EAMS) that monitors and manages cloud environments.

CloudFactory is a multitier, multiclient platform designed to help enterprises build, provide and manage public, private and hybrid cloud environments that are secure and highly scalable, according to the company. In addition IT providers can build their own Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering on top of CloudFactory. ASG claims the solution can help companies save up to 45 percent of IT operating costs and cut out many time-consuming administrative tasks.

“CloudFactory goes beyond helping customers improve their time-to-market or reduce costs,” said ASG Software Solutions CEO Arthur Allen in a prepared statement. “CloudFactory offers enterprises a comprehensive and cost-effective solution to play, deploy, control and optimize their IT infrastructure. Our sophisticated modules guarantee a fast and easy creation, delivery and management of cloud environments while leveraging existing investments.”

The CloudFactory-EAMS integration allows enterprise companies to identify when a capacity threshold is met so it can deploy the appropriate amount of additional compute storage capacity automatically. The new version of CloudFactory also includes monitoring for hybrid cloud environments, a new interface and service catalog, improved Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) functionality and the ability to integrate with Citrix Systems, Microsoft, VMware and Quest Software virtualized desktops.
