AppDirect co-CEO Daniel Saks says his company's platform "enables seamless interoperability across cloud and mobile technologies."

AppDirect on Thursday said it’s extending its mobile capabilities to expand cloud technology across Web and mobile platforms.

The San Francisco-based cloud service marketplace and management company believes this move, along with the help of its partner ecosystem, will enable businesses to access, manage and provision critical cloud apps across every platform.

The AppDirect platform now offers identity management, centralized provisioning, identity management, unified billing and several key capabilities geared toward MDM providers, including mobile license management.

“The AppDirect platform enables seamless interoperability across cloud and mobile technologies, so businesses and end users can get the benefits of both without needing to prioritize one over the other,” AppDirect co-CEO Daniel Saks said in a statement.

AppDirect received $35 million in Series C funding in April 2014, bringing the company’s total funding to $58.8 million.

The company powers marketplaces for companies such as Samsung, Rackspace and Cloud Foundry.
