Security-as-a-Service provider Alert Logic announced it has joined the AWS Marketplace Consulting Partner Program from Amazon Web Services. Alert Logic’s participation in the program will allow AWS Marketplace customers to see which of the company’s system integrators and channel partners are approved for software and services at the point of purchase, thus helping them to work with the correct partners for their business needs.

Several of Alert Logic’s system integrators and channel partners have been chosen to participate in the AWS Marketplace Consulting Partner program, including 2^nd Watch, Cloudreach, Datapipe, DualSpark, Logicworks, Nimbo and Smart421. Each partner will be listed in the AWS Marketplace, according to the announcement.

“We aim to do all that we can to highlight and promote our strong channel partners who extend our 24×7 security and compliance solutions to AWS customers,” said Brian Forbes, vice president of Partner and Americas Field Marketing at Alert Logic, in a statement. “This program will go a long way in connecting our customers with these resources with AWS experience.”

Additionally, Alert Logic’s consulting partners will have access to specific resources and training so they can better enable AWS customers to deploy and utilize applications on the AWS cloud, according to the announcement.
