Cloud connectivity, enterprise communications and mobility solutions supplier ADTRAN (ADTN) today unveiled the first phase of its ProCloud managed service program with a hosted and fully-managed WiFi service for managed services providers (MSPs) and resellers.

As the worldwide PC, tablet, and mobile phone shipments grows, the demand for WiFI connections will rise, too, putting a strain on existing networks. Not only will businesses have to worry about connecting employees to WiFI, but customers and guests, too.

ADTRAN’s ProCloud services aims to alleviate staffing, reliability and security issues facing MSPs by providing partners with the ability to offer a fully-managed, business-class WiFi service with 24/7 monitoring and resolution of technical issues, including hardware upgrades and moves, adds, changes.

ADTRAN offers partners two models for management, ProCloud and ProCloud Private Label:

  • ProCloud — This model is considered to be a complete turnkey ADTRAN managed service, providing 99.99 percent guaranteed infrastructure uptime and complete redundancy, access to technical support at priority SLAs, next business day or four hour hardware replacement, proactive monitoring and 24/7 alerts, moves, adds/changes/moves, and monthly management reports; and

  • ProCloud Private Label — ProCloud Private Label enables ADTRAN partners to offer the service under their own brand, while still leveraging ADTRAN’s hosting infrastructure and ProServices. Partners can incorporate a WiFi managed service into their offerings.

ADTRAN-certified engineers provide support, ensuring the high infrastructure uptime.

ADTRAN Enterprise Network Division Product Management Director Todd Lattanzi said in a prepared statement that the new service and program provides MSPs with more opportunties.

“With the addition of ProCloud, partners can deliver best-in-class managed network services, and utilize our powerful ProStart and ProCare programs to ensure the network is installed and maintained for their customers’ specific organizational requirements,” he said. “As a result, businesses spend less time and attention troubleshooting their IT challenges and remain focused on achieving core business goals.”

The company’s partner programs are outlined on the ADTRAN website.
