ADTRAN (ADTN) customers can now track and categorize their customers’ network data with the launch of ProCloud Analytics, the latest addition to the networking and communication equipment provider’s ProCloud portfolio.
ADTRAN’s ProCloud Analytics solution can be used to capture customer demographic information so users can create customizable ways to gather business intelligence, according to the company. Instead of letting troves of data go unanalyzed, the solution helps customers parse through user info to uncover the best ways to capture additional revenue and boost customer experience ratings.
Chief among the use cases for ProCloud Analytics are the opportunities available to customers looking to capture wireless network information, according to ADTRAN. The solution will allow users to collect a host of data, including email, name, age, gender, device type and more. The solution’s built-in marketing platform will then allow users to send out targeted email and SMS messages to customers based on their specific information.
“The launch of ProCloud Analytics demonstrates ADTRAN’s commitment to providing a full range of valuable cloud-managed services,” said Todd Lattanzi, director of ADTRAN’s cloud services portfolio, in a statement. “Our analytics solution is a seamless, cloud-based addition to ADTRAN ProCloud managed services, making it an easy solution to layer on top of service providers’ existing offerings for wide range of customers and vertical markets.”
Like all of its ProCloud solutions, ADTRAN service providers can choose to manage their services on their own or offload management activities to ADTRAN as a service.
In March, the company incorporated its NetVanta Ethernet switches into the ProCloud service portfolio as a way to help companies expand their networks and gain more visibility into their wired and wireless LANs.
