Verizon to Shutter Public Cloud

Verizon will discontinue two of its public cloud services next month. The telecommunications giant noted it will no longer support the Verizon Public Cloud Reserved Performance and Marketplace services, but users can move their data to the company’s Virtual Private Cloud offering.

BitTitan Unveils New Managed Services Revenue Opportunities with MSPComplete Expansion

Cloud services enablement provider BitTitan has released two products, Concierge and MissionControl for Office 365. BitTitan pointed out its new offerings are designed to help MSPs “deepen (customer) relationships and maximize customer lifetime value.”

Datapipe Adds Managed Services for Microsoft Office 365

Datapipe has announced Datapipe Managed Cloud for Office 365, a service designed to help enterprises maximize the Office 365 platform in the cloud. Managed Cloud for Office 365 offers managed administration services, including 24x7x365 monitoring and support, diagnostics, program resolution, migration, patching and upgrades, according to Datapipe. 

Itopia Debuts Cloud Services Automation Platform

Itopia has launched a cloud services automation platform designed to deliver workspace-as-a-service (WaaS). The company said its new release speeds up the adoption of cloud services by “simplifying and monetizing the discovery, migration, delivery and ongoing management of WaaS to businesses of all sizes.”

2016 CloudEndure Survey Reveals 77% of Companies Striving for 99.9% Availability, But 57% Had One or More Outages in Past 3 Months

A new survey from disaster recovery (DR) solutions provider CloudEndure revealed the number of companies investing in public cloud services for DR continues to grow. In addition, the survey showed 57 percent of companies have suffered at least one outage in the past three months.
