365 Data Centers CMO Keao Caindec says the new brand "better reflects our business service focus."

365 Data Centers on Tuesday revealed its new corporate identity and released a new solution bundle for value-added resellers (VARs) and managed service providers (MSPs) moving small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) customers to the cloud.

Formerly known as 365 Main, the colocation services provider, with 17 data center facilities across the United States, rebranded itself to better reflect its “business service focus,” 365 Data Centers CMO Keao Caindec told Talkin’ Cloud.

He added: “365 Main doesn’t make sense as a name because it is the street address of a single data center in San Francisco that is owned by Digital Realty Trust.”

The company’s new offering, dubbed 365 Quick Start, delivers online sign-up, downtown data center locations and commitment-free colocation services for VARs and MSPs.

“Our highly secure and reliable services, 100 percent SLAs, national coverage and local reach will provide the assurance businesses need to then run mission-critical applications,” Caindec said.

By simplifying colocation services for channel partners, 365 Data Centers hopes to address the need for temporary IT initiatives, private cloud deployments and disaster recovery, the company said.

“Commitment-free colocation services provide SMBs and channel clients with the flexibility they need as they take gradual steps into building a private cloud or migrating their on-site infrastructure into a data center for the first time,” he said.

Additionally, the company also announced the appointment of two new executives: John Scanlon as the company’s CEO; and Keao Caindec as the company’s CMO.

“In 2014, you’ll see 365 Data Centers be more involved in bringing our ecosystem to the communities in which we operate to help cities create technology hubs and drive economic development,” Caindec said. “We believe there is a significant opportunity in emerging U.S. cities to create the right environment for business growth, job creation and innovation.”
