365 Data Centers has launched a new, master-agent-centric channel program to coincide with the company’s transformation from a colocation to a hybrid IT services provider.

As 365 Data Centers rolls out network upgrades, and new cloud and virtual managed services, its channel partners are “benefiting from an array of solutions backed by unparalleled customer service and the company’s powerful, low-latency fiber infrastructure, with data centers strategically spread across 10 Tier 1 and 2 markets,” it said.

Tony Franchi, 365 Data Centers’ senior vice president of sales and marketing, and program leader, tells Channel Partners the program provides a “much more streamlined focus in the channel with top master agents and an avenue for 365 to reach a much larger audience of agents through these master relationships.”

“Today 365 is focused on top-tier partners and [is] much more strategic in the sense of doing business,” he said. “We believe through the master-agent model, 365 will see exponential growth as this is a major extension of our sales approach to the enterprise business.”

365 Data Centers’ master-agent lineup includes Colotraq, Global Communications Group (GCG), Telarus and Telecom Consulting Group (TCG). Colo/IT cloud software consultants, VARs, MSPs and telecom brokers/consultants are “especially strategic subagents for the new program,” the company said.

Franchi said he sought partner input when building the new program.

“365 will be much more strategic with our partners than in the past,” he said. “We have a focus to assist our partners to grow with us. We will be conducting co-marketing events and lead-sharing [with] our partners who have shown a desire to sell 365 and have a proven track record of selling hybrid IT services [and] colocation.”

Adam Edwards, CEO of Telarus, said 365 Data Centers is a “must-have” provider for partners focused on the colo, private cloud and managed services business.

“As large corporations continue to seek the advice of unbiased, experienced channel partners, having a provider like 365 Data Centers who can provide multiple aspects of infrastructure is a huge key to our success,” he said. “Being able to source services like hybrid private/public cloud all under one roof, managed by one of the best technical support teams in the business, is what our partners – and their customers – are looking for. It’s easy to scale up, and down, and it eliminates the need to own physical assets that do nothing but depreciate over time. Couple that with 365 Data Center’s dynamic leadership team, and you have a channel program poised to do very well. Needless to say, we’re excited to be a part of it.”

Last month, 365 Data Centers announced it is offering its data protection services through Veeam as a silver Veeam Cloud and Service Provider (VCSP) partner. It now offers its own private enterprise backup as a service (BaaS) across its U.S.-based network.
