Channel Partner Program Roundup: Year-End Edition, Part One

In this year-end edition of the Channel Partner Program Roundup, we've got news from a slew of companies including Time Warner Cable, Centrify, HeyWire, Vormetric, Nextiva and Vartopia.

Howdy, pardners, and welcome to the last installment of the Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of all things channel-partner related. This being the last Thursday in 2014, I’m cleaning out the corrals and including anything that has yet to be included in the roundup. We’ve got a lot still hanging around, so this is only part one. Hold on tight to your saddles, pardners, ‘cause we’ve got a passel of news to brand our own.

Time Warner Cable: The Time Warner Cable Business Class Partner Program has expanded the suite of services available through the Intelisys, TBI and WTG partner relationships. The three sales partners will now have access to NaviSite offerings, including enterprise-class hosting, managed applications, managed messaging and managed cloud services.

Centrify: The unified identity services vendor announced a partnership with Zoom Video Communications to bring enhanced security with Active Directory- and cloud-based access controls and single sign-on (SSO) to customers, enabling them to securely share and collaborate while meeting enterprise compliance requirements.

By joining the Centrify Alliance Partner Program, Zoom is executing on a strategic partnership with Centrify that features joint sales initiatives, targeted marketing campaigns and technology integration. Through this partnership, Centrify for Zoom provides users with secure SSO access to Zoom’s cloud meeting service. Centrify helps ensure that access to Zoom is limited to the right set of users, while making Zoom securely and ubiquitously available across any number of approved devices without the hassle of more passwords.

HeyWire: The cloud messaging provider announced its HeyWire Business Channel Partner Program. Available to business communications, VoIP services and call center/user experience management providers, the program offers partners a new SaaS-based revenue stream by easily adding next-generation business messaging to their existing offerings. To date, HeyWire Business has signed partnership agreements that represent a reach of more than 20 million employees.

The HeyWire Business platform works across iOS, Android, Windows, PC and Mac and requires no infrastructure investments or any integration with existing voice systems. The service is available to channel partners via two integration options, a turnkey white-label solution and HeyWire Business Integration Platform.

Vormetric: The enterprise data security vendor for physical, virtual and cloud environments, announced the Vormetric Cloud Partner program. Created to address the needs of service providers, the program enables partners to incorporate Vormetric Data Security into their offerings for new, higher margin, value-added solutions. Included in the program are the Vormetric services, pricing and training for products that cloud service providers, hosting providers, managed service providers, managed security service providers require to adopt, roll out and support enhanced offerings.

Nextiva: The cloud-based unified communications provider announced that Ira Feuerstein has joined the company’s executive leadership team as director of the North American channel and strategic partner program.

He brings more than 15 years of partner program experience to Nextiva and was most recently the director of channel sales at SimpleSignal. Prior to that, he served as the national sales and channel director at C3IP Communications, where he focused on serving the SMB market.

Vartopia: The provider of solutions to the information technology channel announced its new 4.0 platform powering the company’s Deal Registration Network.

According to the company, the Deal Registration Network reduces the operational complexity when resellers register their associated deals with IT vendors. The network offers a single interface used to submit, manage and measure deal registrations for all IT vendors connected to the network.
