LightCyber Introduces Global Channel Alliance Program

Cybersecurity vendor LightCyber is the latest company to introduce a formal reseller partner program with the launch of its global Channel Alliance Program, which includes training, tools and certification for those selling its Active Breach Detection platform.
While many other cybersecurity vendors focus on detecting and mitigating threats before they compromise users’ infrastructures, LightCyber’s solution focuses on detecting targeted data breaches that may have slipped past traditional cybersecurity prevention solutions. The company’s flagship Magna security platform, which profiles both network traffic and endpoint status, is being offered exclusively through the channel.
Other standard features included in the partner program include online training and attack simulation labs, a dedicated partner portal and co-selling and evaluation support.
The Channel Alliance Program is LightCyber’s first formal partner program since the company was founded in 2011. LightCyber also partners with security vendors including Check Point Software, Gigamon, Palo Alto Networks and VMware, which act as technology partners to extend the reach of the Magma platform.
“Without Active Breach Detection, most companies lack an ability to accurately and efficiently detect an active breach once an intruder has circumvented legacy threat prevention systems and compromised a user account or networked host,” said Jason Matlof, executive vice president of LightCyber, in a statement. “The new LightCyber Channel Alliance Program can exponentially grow the reach of our Active Breach Detection solutions through a well-equipped and empowered channel that can fast-forward the ability to solve the data breach crisis for more organizations.”
