More Than Consulting
No doubt, the IT channel is filled with consultants who help vendors build their partner programs. Also, numerous social media sites allow solutions providers to find one another and network up with vendors. Prime examples include PartnerPedia and various channel groups on FaceBook and LinkedIn.
But Exigo Group’s efforts seem to blend Partner Relationship Management with social media. Martin gave The VAR Guy a demo of Exigo Group’s Partner Portal a few weeks ago and our resident blogger was impressed.
Still, it’s time for some full disclosure: The VAR Guy might be a bit biased toward Martin. Our resident blogger allegedly went to grade school with Martin’s wife, somewhere out on Long Island’s Gold Coast. Yes, The VAR Guy is an educated guy … at least through sixth grade.
