Happy Thursday, and let us be the first ones to wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day weekend. We hope you get some time to spend with that special someone this weekend, but for now you can cozy up with the latest channel partner news from WOW! Business, Nakina Systems and Carousel Industries.
WOW! Business: The communications and cloud service provider announced a new supplier partner agreement with enterprise communications distributor Intelisys. The agreement is expected to further develop WOW!’s indirect channel sales to meet increasing customer demand in the United States, according to the announcement.
“Intelisys shares our commitment to customer service, providing quality solutions, and developing long-term customer relationships,” said Ken Worcester, vice president of Channel Sales at WOW! Business, in a statement. “We’re excited to add Intelisys to our growing Partner Alliance Program and believe our suite of communications services and channel-friendly master reseller agreements set us apart from our industry peers.”
WOW! Specializes in IP-based network, data, voice and cloud services for SMBs, according to the company. Its partnership with Intelisys will help it to attract new customers and expand into the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast United States in particular, it noted.
Nakina: The network solution provider is the latest company to join Intel’s Network Builder program.
Through the program, Nakina will work with Intel to accelerate the deployment of software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) solutions, according to the announcement. Intel formed the program to showcase production-ready solutions from its network of ecosystem vendors.
“Nakina is pleased to be a participating member in the Intel Network Builders program,” said Patrick Rhude, chief technology officer and vice president of Product Management for Nakina. “Working with Intel and other partners in the ecosystem will help us collectively accelerate NFV market adoption toward wide-scale implementations.”
Carousel Industries: The systems integrator was named Commercial Partner of the Year, Americas by networking solution provider Juniper Networks (JNPR).
Carousel’s business with Juniper led to a year-over-year sales increase of 110 percent across the Americas in 2014. The company was able to grow its sales with Juniper last year due to its success in deploying unified communications solutions to new and existing customers, according to the announcement.
"We congratulate Carousel Industries on this remarkable achievement, which is well-deserved and highlights both companies' long-term strategic partnership," said Jon Belcher, vice president of Channels U.S. at Juniper Networks. "Apart from Carousel's astounding sales performance, this award was earned by Carousel's ability to address a range of vertical markets with uncommon integration expertise and broad technical knowledge."
