Cherwell: IT services management provider Cherwell Software has joined the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance to deliver integrated solutions around Microsoft’s ecosystem of products and services.

The Cherwell Service Management solution is currently used by Microsoft platform users to manage their ITSM solutions, with the Express Software Manager designed to help customers integrate with System Center Configuration Manager to develop data-driven reports, according to the announcement.

“Cherwell is excited to work with Microsoft to integrate Cherwell’s ITSM and ITAM solutions with System Center and with products across the Microsoft platform,” said Craig Harper, president of Cherwell, in a statement. “It is an ideal partnership for customers who appreciate practical solutions to tough problems.”

Digium: Telephony solution provider Digium recently announced the winners of its 2015 Pinnacle Awards, which recognized the company’s global channel partner ecosystem for their success in the marketplace.

Some of this year’s most notable winners included Chromis Technology, which won the U.S. partner of the Year Award, as well as Jenne, Inc., which was named distributor of the year in the United States. Digium also handed out awards for its Direct Marketing Partner of the year as well as its top VAR partners.

"Each year, it's an honor to recognize so many of our channel partners who have committed to servicing their customers and growing their businesses with Digium solutions," said Jim Butler, director of Worldwide Channel Sales at Digium. "The Pinnacle Awards serve as appreciation for those partner organizations that have helped to expand our worldwide base of customers through the delivery of our affordable, feature-rich Switchvox phone system and custom Asterisk-based communication solutions."

Virtual Instruments: Infrastructure Performance Management solutions provider Virtual Instruments has attained gold application development competency from Microsoft (MSFT), which signifies that the company has proven its “best-in-class” commitment to Microsoft customers.

Virtual Instruments received the distinction for placing within the top 1 percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. The company’s VirtualWisdom4 IPM platform has helped Microsoft customers to gain visibility into their end-to-end IT infrastructure and identify performance problems before they affect their infrastructures, according to the announcement.

“The Microsoft gold application development competency achievement underscores our commitment to our partners’ and customers’ success by providing increased visibility, holistic performance monitoring and context-relevant insights,” said John Gentry, vice president of Marketing and Alliances at Virtual Instruments.
