Avnet Expands Cloud Portfolio with CenturyLink Cloud
Avnet Technology Solutions has partnered with CenturyLink to give U.S. and Canadian resellers access to the CenturyLink cloud platform through Avnet Cloud Solutions.
Avnet Technology Solutions (AVT) has partnered with CenturyLink (CTS) to give U.S. and Canadian resellers access to the CenturyLink cloud platform through Avnet Cloud Solutions.
The addition of CenturyLink Cloud to the Avnet Cloud Solutions portfolio is expected to provide the distributor’s partner ecosystem with additional ways to deliver cloud IT services to customers, said Tim FitzGerald, vice president of Cloud Solutions for Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas.
“CenturyLink Cloud is an all-in-one cloud platform that delivers high-performance, secure, reliable and scalable cloud solutions for all workloads,” said FitzGerald, in a statement. “It complements Avnet’s approach to solving today’s business-to-business cloud computing challenges.”
Avnet partners also will have access to the Avnet Cloud Toolset, which allows resellers to track their customers’ cloud accounts across multiple providers and create consumption-based invoicing for workloads running on CenturyLink Cloud, according to the announcement. The distributor promised to provide CenturyLink Cloud resellers with a streamlined onboarding process and support in building recurring revenue streams.
Additionally, partners will have the option to become members of the CenturyLink Cloud Reseller Program, with Avnet allowing resellers to own customer billing and relationships under their respective brands with the CenturyLink Cloud Reseller Program, the company said.

Earlier this month, Avnet launched its uRenew portal, which allows North American partners to access their service contracts through a single pane of glass. The portal was designed based on partner and solution provider feedback.
