Telx has re-launched its Miami colocation and interconnection facility, just in time for the intensification of hurricane season. Located in downtown Miami at 36 Northeast 2nd Street, Telx’s Miami colocation data center is structurally designed to withstand natural disasters.

As a category 5-rated hurricane building, the structure is outside both the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) 100-year designated flood zone and the Miami-Dade hurricane evacuation zone. Also available from Telx’s facility in Miami are the company’s Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) and Telx Vault backup services, which were both designed to maximize up-time for customers, even in the face of natural disasters.
