PHONE+ is pleased to announce the winner of its Early Bird Drawing, one of several valuable prizes that will be awarded to qualified indirect sales organizations attending the Fall 2006 Channel Partners Conference & Expo.

Jim Tway, president of JIM TEL LLC, Scotch Plains, N.J., is the winner of $1,000 and three nights’ stay at the host hotel Omni Shoreham during the show. Tway was selected at random from among qualified channel partner delegates who registered as of July 21.

JIM TEL has been in business as a telecommunications consulting firm for 13 years. The company advises small and midsize businesses on their voice and data telecommunications needs, from audit to implementation. The company also is an agent for companies, such as PAETEC, World Telecom Group, MetTel and InfoHighway.

Tway is a frequent attendee of the Channel Partners Conference & Expo event, having been to past shows in Las Vegas, Chicago and Miami, to name a few.

The Channel Partners Conference & Expo is the communications industrys only national convention for solutions providers agents, VARs, systems integrators, interconnects, wireless dealers and consultants.

Tway says he attends the show to meet with vendors and see new products they are introducing. The lecture sessions also are very good. I enjoy those, he adds. Most of all, he finds the event is a great way to renew relationships with colleagues and suppliers.

Winning the Early Bird Prize has extended Tways lucky streak. Earlier this year, he won two other unrelated drawings one for an HDTV. How will he spend his new winnings? I am glad that were not in Vegas because Id blow it on gambling, says Tway. Instead, he says he likely will spend it entertaining industry friends in D.C. now that everyone at Channel Partners knows hes got found money.

“There are other chances to win,” said Trade Show Manager Sarah Waschler. Qualified registrants automatically will be entered into a prize drawing for a $1,500 Golfsmith gift card at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 23. Or, attendees could win a $1,000 Sharper Image gift card during the drawing set for Thursday, Aug. 24, at 4 p.m.

The Grand Prize, a $2,500 Visa gift card, will be given to a lucky winner drawn from among the qualified attendees that complete and submit an Expo Ballot with stamps from participating ballot exhibitors. The drawing will take place Friday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m., in the expo hall.
