We are excited to be partnering with CompTIA, the leading IT association, to bring you a new collaboration event.

For the first time ever, were holding the Agent-VAR Partnering Workshop at the Spring 2011 Channel Partners Conference & Expo. Its an interactive seminar (requiring registration separate from the show) that will bring together channel partners from the telecom and IT worlds. The timing is perfect because agent-VAR partnerships are evolving from simple lead-swapping to team-ups on customer deployments.

Workshop participants will help to define the optimal relationship between agents and VARs, as well as the potential points of failure. Theyll also begin developing best practices about how to initiate and formalize these relationships from conversations to contracts.

To focus the discussion, CompTIA and Channel Partners are fielding a joint survey on the state of agent-VAR partnerships. We invite you to inform the debate by answering the survey.
