MSP SUMMIT/CHANNEL PARTNERS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT — Even intermittent storms couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm of attendees at the launch of the Channel Futures MSP Summit/Channel Partners Leadership Summit. The event runs now through Sept. 16 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The Leadership Summit features the debut of the Women’s Leadership Summit, produced in collaboration with the Alliance of Channel Women.

“This is a major breakthrough for our organization and the industry — the launch of a channel conference focused on improving leadership skills in the face of so much uncertainty,” said Bob DeMarzo, vice president of content for Informa Tech Channels. “Technology advisors/agents, MSP 501ers and managed service providers are all coming together to find ways to grow as leaders and grow their organizations. This represents a very important moment in the channel with so much at stake and the future so cloudy.”

Day 1 kicked off with Women’s Leadership Summit sessions covering a range of topics from leadership skills and interview techniques to mentoring and communications plans.

Len DiCostanzo of MSP Toolkit and Peter Kujawa of Service Leadership also presented a workshop for MSPs on building and growing a profitable recurring revenue business.

All the sessions attracted large audiences.

“It was standing-room only for the Women’s Leadership Summit,” said one attendee.

The day wrapped with a “Havana Nights Welcome Party.”
