Bandwidth.com Unleashes Torrent Partner Portal

Bandwidth.com (Booth 805), a nationwide provider of Internet and VoIP services for small and medium businesses, this week is unveiling its new partner portal. The Torrent system enables partners to offer a suite of IP solutions without the traditional back-office personnel and resources.


Torrents unique infrastructure allows our partners the ability to handle everything for their customers, from pricing to installation and, in return, run a better and more efficient business, says CEO Henry Kaestner. Not only is our system the easiest in the industry to use, but we also have the widest selection of carriers and products and competitive commissions.


Bandwidth.com offers product portfolio management, meaning the ability to customize product offerings based on your preferences. That allows channel partners to filter out providers and present only those that maximize profitability; the ability to integrate your current product line via a fully customizable pricing API; and the ability to control profit margins with multiple if/then pricing and product scenarios.


Torrent also addresses customer lifecycle management by allowing channel partners to oversee the critical stages of ordering, installation and billing; deliver proposals and relevant collateral to partners clients; and initiate and launch trouble tickets.


The portal employs a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) that provides maximum flexibility and system interoperability; a full-service API that exposes all application functionality to channel partners systems and processes; and the ability to customize the presentation of information to customers.
