Welcome to a new year and a new Channel Partner Program Roundup. We hope your year is off to a great start. Let’s dive right in with the latest channel news from Logicalis and Lumeta.
Logicalis: IT solutions and managed services provider Logicalis has achieved the Application Centric Infrastructure Authorized Technology Provider designation from Cisco Systems (CSCO), allowing the company to offer customers new data center architecture solutions.
The designation recognizes Logicalis for fulfilling the training requirements and prerequisites needed to sell, deploy and support Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure products and solutions, according to the announcement.
“It’s becoming very clear that, today, information technology is a business in transition, shifting from a focus on technology to a services focus,” said Renae Johnson, vice president, Cisco Solutions, Logicalis U.S., in a statement. “To accommodate these changes, CIOs are adopting more agile and automated development techniques, and Cisco’s ACI offers the kind of centralized automation and network programmability that gives our clients the ability to rapidly deploy new applications while scaling resources up or down as needed, quickly and efficiently.”
Lumeta: The network situational awareness provider has appointed Brandon Hoffman as chief technology officer, responsible for driving business development and strategic relationships with CSPs, consulting firms and channel partners. He will report to Pat Donnellan, Lumeta’s chief executive officer.
“As we continue to enhance the overall value of the solution for our customers, I am pleased and excited to have Brandon on the team as CTO, where he will engage with strategic partners to strengthen Lumeta’s role in the IT ecosystem,” said Donnellan.
Hoffman formerly served as federal chief technology officer at RedSeal, where he was responsible for defining solutions and strategies to serve government priorities, according to the announcement. Hoffman has also held positions at companies including Boingo Wireless, Clear Channel and Bonneville Radio.
That’s all for now, but be sure to check in next week for even more channel partner news. Stay safe out there.
