DSS Inc., a U.S.-based VAR and managed services provider, has embraced the Zyrion Traverse network monitoring platform as part of  its managed services offering. It’s a significant win for Zyrion; DSS has been in business for over 15 years and serves over 400 end-user business customers.

The DSS portfolio of IT monitoring software solutions includes infrastructure monitoring services, data center hosting, social software and collaboration, and IT consulting services. DSS operates in Pennsylvania.

DSS has used Zyrion’s API (application programming interface) to turn all of their custom scripts over to the Zyrion Traverse platform. DSS has also leveraged Zyrion’s service container to prioritize the outages and events by matching them with corrective services. The result? A faster network recovery time for DSS customers.

The managed services deal with DSS is Zyrion’s biggest customer acquisition since the software provider signed a similar deal in September 2011 with Netelligent, a cloud services and managed services provider.
