Zetta.net, ConnectWise Integrate Cloud BDR With PSA
Zetta.net and ConnectWise are coming together to provide a cloud-based integrated solution for the channel.
Headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, data backup and disaster recovery (BDR) provider Zetta.net this week said its channel partners can now view customer data usage, alerts, billing and other activities from within the ConnectWise platform — a professional services automation (PSA) tool designed for managed services providers (MSPs).
“For those MSPs that already use ConnectWise or are considering doing so, it is often a hard requirement that other solutions they choose must be integrated,” Zetta.net Channels Director Art Ledbetter told Talkin’ Cloud.
He continued: “So in this respect, it gives them an opportunity to consider Zetta’s enterprise-grade DR and archiving solution as an alternative to other slower solutions that require appliances and don’t offer the range of recovery options.
“The administrative burden takes valuable time away from client-centric activities which makes it harder for MSPs to run their business,” he said. “The ConnectWise integration will help our channel partners to drive efficiencies in their business so they can focus their efforts on billable client tasks.”
Zetta.net, however, isn’t going to stop with just ConnectWise. It’s planning to integrate with other PSA tools, possibly even Autotask and Tigerpaw — two other well-known PSA in the channel.
“Zetta.net plans to continue broadening our portfolio of integrations and look at other PSA solutions to continue our efforts in helping MSPs drive efficiencies to the administrative side of their business,” Ledbetter said.
He said Zetta.net partnered first with ConnectWise because it believes it’s one of the “leading business process management tools for MSPs.”
Zetta.net has raised $53.8 million from investors since 2008. It secured $8 million in Series B financing from several private equity firms in June 2013.
