John Corley will become president of Xerox Channel Partner Operations on September 1

Xerox Appoints New Channel Partner Operations Head

Xerox Channel Partner Operations will have someone new running the division starting in September.

Xerox (XRX)’s Channel Partner Operations will have a new leader running the division in a couple of weeks.

Headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut with locations around the world, the document management corporation this week said John Corley will be taking over as president of Channel Partner Operations, effective September 1. He will be replacing Douraid Zaghouani, who made the personal decision to pursue opportunities outside of Xerox.

Corley has been serving as senior vice president and general manager of Xerox Canadian Operations, where he’s been leading the company’s Canadian sales operations since January 2008.

Prior to that, he led marketing strategy for Xerox North America and was responsible for the development of go-to-market strategies across all its channels and market segments.

Within the first few months of his new role, Corley told MSPmentor that he plans to do “a lot of listening and engaging with staff and partners.”

“While I don’t intend to make any immediate changes, I believe new leadership offers an incredible opportunity to look at things with a fresh vision — and then take that insight to strengthen and enhance the business model,” he said.

“There’s a solid foundation and incredible energy within Xerox’s Channel Partner Operations that I intend to build upon,” he said. “Our message is simple, yet powerful – channel partners can increase their profitable revenue by expanding and connecting Xerox technology and services along with their unique solutions to simplify how work gets done.”

Before starting his new role, Corley expects to finish wrapping up projects and focus on relocating his family to Connecticut. He plans to attend several partner conferences in September.

“I am fortunate to have led a number of initiatives throughout my career at Xerox, most recently responsible for all sales for our document technology services and solutions across all channels in Canada, and prior to that, developing go-to-market strategies for the North American SMB Market,” he said. “I will bring these experiences, along with my channel insight and passion to succeed, to Xerox’s Channel Partner Operations.”
