Vibrant Solutions Announces Customer Win, System Enhancements
Billing and OSS company Vibrant Solutions said this week at Billing World it has signed a large contract with a North American wireless carrier and released a new version of its ViewLogic 7 Series.
Vibrant Solutions signed the deal with the help of Netezza, a provider of data warehouse appliances. The unnamed Tier 1 carrier will use the Vibrant Solutions HyperAnalytics, a 27-terabyte system that summarizes call detail records using Netezzas Performance Server, to bolster its reciprocal compensation billing application.
HyperAnalytics gives carriers an edge in a changing marketplace, said Jim Pagos, CEO of Vibrant Solutions, in a press release. Our customers can access operational data and manage queries across billions of records faster than ever before.
HyperAnalytics users can use the system to look into least cost routing, networking optimization, fraud and arbitrage, CALEA support, and more.
Meanwhile at Billing World, Vibrant Solutions also demonstrated key changes to the ViewLogic 7 Series, the companys cost management system. The latest release incorporates Vibrant Rate Service (VRS) and AutoPay.
VRS is a monthly feed of supplier tariff rates that ensures accurate rate audits and eliminates the need to manually input rate information. AutoPay speeds certain invoices through the payment process automatically, according to user-defined parameters. This feature lets providers increase savings from inter-carrier billing and improve operational efficiencies in their line cost departments, according to Vibrant Solutions.
