Tenzing Managed IT Services is rolling out yet another managed services offering built on top of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.

On Monday, Tenzing, a Toronto, Ontario-based managed services provider (MSP), announced the global availability of Magento Optimized Hosting on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a way for customers to host their own e-commerce store on Amazon’s cloud-based platform.

Through this offering, Tenzing will provide infrastructure monitoring, incident response, backups, patching and threat prevention for its customers.

It will also administer several components of the Magento platform, including Linux, Apache, NGINX, PHP-FHM, Memchached, Redis, Varnish and MySQL.

Tenzing also provides advanced managed services specifically tailored for e-commerce. These services include site optimization, load testing, application performance management and DoS mitigation.

“Magento is an incredible ecommerce platform and AWS is far and away the market leader in public cloud — our offering combines the benefits of both, allowing our merchants the flexibility and scalability of AWS, without the headaches,” Tenzing CEO Brian Shepard told MSPmentor.

He added: ” The biggest selling point is how easy we make it to host your Magento store on AWS — our offering gives you the flexibility and scalability of Amazon, without sacrificing performance.”

Tenzing first touted its partnership with AWS in April, noting that the new relationship provides merchants with the ability to address seasonal fluctuations in real-time, and offers support to ensure reliability, security and optimal performance.
