Value-added telecom reseller Telarus has partnered with ViaWest, a North American cloud, colocation and managed services provider to provide ViaWest’s services to Telarus’ partners.

“We are very excited to have ViaWest as one of our anchor data center suppliers,” Telarus Vice President of Business Development Lanny Gray said, in a statement. “This is a tool that is only available to Telarus partners, and because of this, our partners can now access very detailed information about the best-of-breed data centers.”

ViaWest has 27 data centers across the western United States and provides a 100 percent network, systems and power uptime guarantee. ViaWest customers Frontier Airlines, Hitachi Consulting and Net-Inspect, and the partnership with Telarus could help ViaWest better meet the data needs of its expanding clientele, the companies said.

“ViaWest is pleased to enter into this partnership with Telarus,” Sean McCaffery, Vice President of Channel Sales at ViaWest, said in a statement. “This partnership extends our market scope and enables Telarus agents to meet the increasing market demand from businesses who are looking for reliable solutions to protect their IT infrastructure and scale into managed services and cloud solutions to address their growing data requirements.”
