Symantec Integrates with Kaseya, LabTech, Level Platforms

symantec-logo-300dpi.jpgSymantec (NASDAQ:SYMC), a company that provides security, backup, and availability solutions, announced several new cloud capabilities, including the availability of the Symantec Partner Management Console, which is designed to simplify the management and monitoring of two of the company’s products — Symantec Endpoint Protection.cloud and Symantec Backup Exec.cloud — through a single web-based portal.

The Symantec Partner Management Console provides partners with the ability to monitor and manage customers using a single console, which connects Symantec Backup Exec.cloud and Symantec Endpoint Protection.cloud, hosted in the cloud. Partners can provide customized and branded usage, as well as status and security reports through the console.

Last year, the company made a promise to deliver cost-effective features to provide MSPs with the ability to deliver (and manage) security and backup solutions. According to Symantec, its new console demonstrates the company’s continuous commitment to assisting MSPs.

Symantec extends the company’s relationships with remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform providers by implementing new integrations with Kaseya, LabTech Software and Level Platforms. Kaesya’s new integration enables partners to use the combined data and application protection from Symantec’s Backup Exec with the management and remote monitoring capabilities of the Kaseya management solution. Additionally, MSPs using Kaseya can ensure all systems are functioning properly.

Level Platforms’s integration allows MSPs to access up-to-date information on the health of all their customers’ endpoint protection deployments through a single dashboard. Lab Tech Software, on the other hand, provides Symantec customers with the ability to leverage the LabTech Software RMM platform to deploy, set up, manage and monitor back up and endpoint security across multiple domains, customers and offices from a single console and location.

Symantec has also developed a pay-as-you-go model program, ExSP licensing, to accommodate the availability of Symantec Endpoint Protection.cloud and Symantec Backup Exec.cloud. Partners are offered the option to buy Symantec software in a monthly subscription-based model. Symantec is also providing rewards to service partners for their growth by reducing licensing costs as their volume of business increases.

More information about the Symantec partner program can be found here.
