StrikeForce Signs Network Security Deal with UK-Based MSP

StrikeForce Technologies, Inc., a network security solution provider, has clearly identified its 2012 strategy: expand the use of its consumer, government and corporate-focused security services in Europe. To that end, the Out-of-Band Authentification, keystroke encryption and mobile security provider has signed a distribution agreement with Managed Services Center (MSC), a managed services and security provider based in the UK.

The StrikeForce – MSC agreement marks the second value-added reseller (VAR) deal that StrikeForce has signed in Europe. In a prepared statement, StrikeForce Technologies CEO Mark Kay identified the company’s ProtectID Out-of-Band Authentification solution and GuardID anti-key logging, keystroke encryption software as the two main solutions that are leading the company’s further expansion into Europe.

StrikeForce claims that most of the demand for its two aforementioned products comes from the enterprise security, financial services, online gaming and Internet service provider (ISP) sectors. So the software provider was looking for an MSP in Europe that plays in a wide range of markets, and it appears to have found what it was looking for in MSC. The managed services provider says it has protected billions of pounds worth of company assets, operations and information. Now through the VAR agreement, StrikeForce plans to offer its security software as an integrated package with MSC’s 24×7 IT management, 24×7 security monitoring, data backup and email scanning solutions.
