SOTI Inc. unveiled a new channel program this morning to assist its partners with growing their mobility businesses amid disruption in the enterprise mobility management (EMM) space.

For SOTI channel partners, the new Altitude Partner Program program includes multiple program tiers for resellers, a new program for on-boarding, additional support, request for proposal (RFP) services, training programs and a new partner portal.

The program is designed to provide partners with opportunities in the mobility space including helping with managing mobility workflow. SOTI believes mobility workflow management across an organization knocks the mobility industry into the second phase of BYOD, moving businesses away from basic BYOD solutions.

“We’re at the tail end of that BYOD 1.0 wave; where most companies have either implemented something, or they’re at the tail end of the implementation,” SOTI Marketing Vice president Roula Vrsic said.

SOTI’s solution views mobility workflow and “where mobility solutions are being leveraged across the organization, not just with the front-end office employees,” she said.

SOTI saw a 45 percent year-over-year growth rate in its channel business and will continue to dedicate 70 percent of its overall business to its channel partners, SOTI Channel Management Senior Director Laura Evans said.

“Partners are really an expansion of our sales force, and we’re working with them to utilize their knowledge in the vertical markets that they’re serving,” she said.

The launch of the new program comes at a time when players in the EMM space have witnessed a lot of market consolidation.

Additionally, SOTI CEO Carl Rodrigues has been an outspoken executive in the space, critical of competitors taking venture capital funding.
