Soonr has announced new partner portal capabilities specifically designed to allow managed service providers (MSPs), value-added resellers (VARs) and other channel partners to deliver and manage the company’s file sharing and collaboration service with multiple customers from a single location.

The San Jose, California-based file sharing and collaboration service provider said the new partner portal capabilities enable channel partners to manage service, device and other team policies directly within Soonr’s partner portal.

Also, Soonr noted that its channel partners no longer have to log in to the company’s partner portal separately or require a separate user account per team.

“As a managed service provider grows its customer base, the problem quickly becomes that of scalability,” Sam Liu, Soonr’s vice president of marketing, said in a prepared statement. “Having to individually toggle between managing customer accounts becomes prohibitive without a mechanism that streamlines the access and management of the service from one location.”

Liu told MSPmentor that Soonr currently has over 200 channel partners, and the new partner portal capabilities could help both his company and its partners boost their revenues.

For example, Francis Yiu, CEO of San Francisco-based systems integrator Novani, said he believes that the new partner portal capabilities will enable his company “to maintain a high level of service excellence” while it scales its operations.

Additionally, Soonr CEO Ahmet Tuncay pointed out that his company’s success is “built through partnerships,” and 95 percent of its revenue comes through the channel.

Soonr delivers its file sharing and collaboration service to over 150,000 businesses in 134 countries via MSPs, VARs, cloud services providers (CSPs) and systems integrators.
